This Deejo knife is decorated with a solid coral (or Padouk) wood plate. This type of wood has long been used in cutlery for its precious red/amber reflections (hence the name), its sturdiness and excellent resistance to humidity. Here it wonderfully highlights the elegance of a Deejo knife.
Obtained by fixing gray titanium onto a stainless steel base, this finish has a double advantage. First of all, it reinforces the surface resistance to impacts and scratches, then it enhances the pure lines of your knife, bringing sobriety to its peak. Discreet finish par excellence, the steel acquires a light patina over the years to further enhance this beautiful cutlery.
To cut meat, peel fruit or open a package, your Deejo knife cuts anywhere, anytime, but always with elegance.Like any knife, the blade edge of your Deejo knife will wear out over time. To maintain a perfect edge, you should sharpen your Deejo's blade regularly. We use Z40C13 type stainless steel, which is hard enough to maintain a perfect edge over time and soft enough to easily resharpen the knife. Your Deejo knife sharpens normally, using a stone, steel or sharpener. Just be careful not to damage the aesthetics of the blade while doing so.
SPECIAL WASHING PRECAUTIONS: Your Deejo knife should be hand washed with a damp sponge, avoiding the scratchy side of the sponges. They are not dishwasher safe because they risk irreparably damaging their joint system.
At Deejo, we believe that the best knife in the world is the one you will use every day. For this reason, we have designed our lightweight, ultra-light knives, without sacrificing dimensions or materials, to allow you to carry only the essentials with you: the pleasure of a perfect cut.
Named for its weight, your Deejo knife weighs just 37g!
But that's not all: easy to wear, to use, to adopt, Deejo goes beyond the knife by offering the possibility of getting "tattooed": tattooing the knife, as you would mark the skin, is offering this already very personal object. a completely different dimension: his identity.
Deejo is the story of an object that is anything but accessory, which carries with it on its blade the soul of its owner.
